Disaster Triage Example 2

The JumpSTART system was developed to allow first responders to triage casualties at a rate of one every thirty to sixty seconds. The system uses four colors to represent the categories of casualty triage. The four colors of triage are green, yellos, red and black. These colors correspond to the relative urgency that the child will require medical care.
