Case Background

Although the patient had stated that he was in good health and didn't really need a check-up, upon further questioning, he admitted to occasional indigestion and said he was under a lot of stress related to seeking a new job. He described the symptoms as a lower chest discomfort after eating, especially when taking out the garbage after dinner. He had similar symptoms if he became very upset. He added that the symptoms were minor, and only lasted several minutes.
