Your choice: Psychosomatic pain
Psychosomatic chest pain is difficult to define, but is frequently present in anxious and/or depressed patients. There is no consistent pattern to the pain. It can last from seconds to hours or even days. Precipitating causes are quite variable as are the relieving factors.
