Completed Evaluation & Labs Review

We have now completed the evaluation of our patient and reviewed selected normal laboratory procedures, some of which were not indicated in our patient.

However, knowledge of these procedures in the normal patient will help you assess analogous studies in patients with cardiac disease.

Our patient’s diagnosis is musculoskeletal pain. He has a normal cardiovascular evaluation.

His immediate treatment was reassurance that he has no heart disease. His symptoms completely resolved with local heat, mild analgesics and rest of his arm.
